CNC Turning Services

Edward Köehn Co., Inc. is a proud provider of precision CNC turning services, with experience in a range of machining techniques including boring, knurling, reaming, turning and milling. Special capabilities include broaching, as well as advanced threading processes including thread rolling, external thread cutting, internal thread cutting, and single point threading. All processes are carried out with state-of-the-art 4-axis machinery featuring live tooling, CNC control, automatic bar loaders and high-speed capabilities. Other features include single spindle, sub spindles and live tools.

Components are possible in sizes up to 4.5" in length and 2" in diameter, constructed holding a tight ±0.001" tolerances. Parts can be composed of multiple metal materials including ferrous, non-ferrous, steel, stress proof, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, bronze, titanium, copper; and plastic such as nylon, PFE, acrylic, PVC, polypropylene, acetal, and delrin among others. Secondary operations such as drilling, tapping, milling, and deburring are also employed during fabrication, and such ancillary services as heat treating, passivating, grinding, burnishing, tumbling, and plating in gold and platinum finishes are available for a complete manufacturing experience. Light assembly, and custom packaging are also part of our offerings. Typical lead times are 3 to 4 weeks, with medium to large quantity production volume available. Customers are also invited to take advantage of our affordable design assistance services to create custom parts for their specific requirements.
